Website Upgrade

We've just upgraded and restyled our website, www.audrey2.co.za. Along with the bimonthly mag (which promises to be allot more punctual from now on), we have set a weekly "Creative Arousal" award which will be awarded to creative work, from SA, that breaks the norm and ignites inspiration. You know, those pieces of work that make make you say- "Shit i wish i had done that". Each Issue of Audrey 2 will now also feature a few guest judges who will select an "Winner" from all the submissions from that issue. Along with the holding the prestigious and awkwardly sounding title of "Issue winner", the winner will receive an "authentic and underwhelming-Audrey 2 T-shirt."

Bare Your Bones

Vincent Van Gogh died an unknown. That sweet scent of success eluded him. Not a single panty was thrown his way and not once did he snort cocaine off a groupies’ breast . He never even threw a TV out of a hotel window. Now tell us honestly, would you want to be a Van Gogh ? What's that you say? Yeah sure he’s famous now. His work is displayed in some of the most famous galleries around the world. He is envied by masters around the globe and across generations. His name will live on forever... Ok bad example ...but even with the whole cutting-your-own-ear-off-thing? Yeah okay so would we, but as a general rule of thumb it’s not such a great idea to die an unknown. So bare your bones in the 3rd issue of Audrey 2. Submit work to submissions.audrey2@yahoo.com

We got a home!

After months of justifying the great importance of doodles and social drinks after work, we've finally set aside our chronic procrastination and got our website done. Yip, a dinkum website with a home page, links and everything. So check it out at: www.audrey2.co.za. A special thanks goes out to Tank, you guys have taken the "pain" out of "pain in the ass"...which leaves you with "in the ass?", ok never mind- Tank is really cool and easy to use, check them out: www.withtank.com.

Just a little nudge. Reminder. Heads -Up.

The 30th of June is known the world-over for being a day that not only marks such historical events as: Independence day in the Congo, Yngwie Malmsteen's birthday and the launch of "One Night in Paris", but also the deadline for submissions to Audrey 2, Issue 2. So this year on the 30th of June, along with the celebratory firing of our A.K's in the air as a show of empathy for our African brethren in the north, pining longingly over our classic rock l.p's and bitty Internet clips, we'll also be feverishly, and with more drama than the comrades cut-off, be watching as the last few submissions trickle into our inbox.

So get moving and submit your thing to: submissions.audrey2@yahoo.com and check here for more info.

Cheers

Hello

We are happy to announce the launch of Audrey 2 - a bi-monthly digital showcase of the South African creative industry. Please send us something to put in it. We don't care what it is. As long as you think it should be in our magazine. If you do it, and our bimonthly celebrity judge likes your thing the best, you will win a cool prize*. If you don't do it, you can fuck off and die you selfish piece of shit.

Submit your thing to Submissions.Audrey2@yahoo.com

Awesomeness and radness.
The guys at Audrey 2.

Submission requirements: File size to be no larger than 5mb. Please send the whole campaign in one email if possible.

Legal shpiel: Publication is digital in nature (thats viral for the cool kids out there), so make sure you got the go-ahead from client or relevant suites. Actually we don't really care, were just trying to cover our arses and fine print at the bottom of a newsletter makes it look all official and stuff.

* "cool prize" is subjective and in reality may be rather shit.
